Dr. David Fried

Dr. David followed in his family’s footsteps when he decided to become a dentist. Not only was his father, Dr. Kenneth, a practicing provider, but his great-uncle also worked in oral healthcare, and the two often spoke about how much they loved their work. During his college years, Dr. David took the opportunity to shadow his dad in the office, where he experienced firsthand the difference that a skilled provider could make in their patients’ lives.

It was no surprise, then, that Dr. David decided to pursue a career in dentistry, too. He initially earned a bachelor’s degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University and achieved a master’s degree from Tulane. He then graduated with his dental degree from Midwestern University. Like his father before him, Dr. David is also committed to continuing educational opportunities and participates in the American Dental Association and the Indiana Dental Society.

Outside of work, Dr. David enjoys supporting local sports teams, trying new restaurants around Griffith, playing fantasy football, and exercising to stay fit. He’s also a certified scuba diver and has been since he was 14.

Dr. Kenneth Fried

Dr. Kenneth is a dedicated provider who has been helping families near Griffith improve their smiles for over 40 years and enjoys establishing lasting relationships with patients to better serve the community. In fact, helping people may be the reason why Dr. Kenneth decided to become a dentist in the first place. Ever since he was a child, he had a strong fascination with science, business, and service. Then, during college, he realized that a career as a dentist combined all these interests, and his friends helped him decide to pursue it.

Dr. Kenneth began his educational career by earning his undergraduate degree at Illinois State University. He then went on to achieve his dental degree from the University of Illinois, but he didn’t stop there. Dr. Kenneth understands that dental technology and treatments can advance rapidly, so he also participates in different institutions, such as the American Dental Association, the Indiana Dental Society, and the Chicago Dental Society, to remain abreast of recent developments. He has also obtained certification as a ClearCorrect provider to help straighten smiles.

Although Dr. Kenneth is committed to working diligently to help people of all ages build and maintain the happiest, healthiest versions of their smiles, he also enjoys getting involved in the local community near Griffith. As a result, he has served on the boards of different organizations, including the American Cancer Society, the East Side Lions Club, and the East Side Chamber of Commerce.

When he’s not at work improving smiles or volunteering to help those around him, you can often find Dr. Kenneth spending quality time with his wife, Marilyn, and their grown children- including Dr. David, who also works in the office! Dr. Kenneth is a huge Chicago sports fan and will gladly cheer for his home teams.
